Ya its guild drama, but accounts getting stolen hacked, passwords compromised, etc is rl drama

This is a warning to all people who run websites associated with this server. If people want to spin this thread to take away from the seriousness of the matter it just reflects immaturity. This was not a case of trading access passwords, it was malicious infiltration of private intellectual property. How can you say for sure that other p99 associated sites weren't hit in a similar manner? I highly suggest that other guilds should check their logs just in case

Yeah, ok, that's all fine, but an officer in your guild pointed the finger at TR in his OP. Instead of a general warning that there might be someone targeting guild websites for malicious reasons, you directly fingered a competing guild as the source with no proof.

It was "spun" in the OP.

You folks would have been well advised to leave the TR bashing out of it, then, and just report on what occurred without the speculation as to whom perpetrated it. As it stands, it looks like a smear campaign, not a public service, and it looks like you're trying to preemptively damage the credibility of those who might now accuse you of exploiting. TR was only mentioned because member(s) of TR were forwarding our internal forum posts around.

When we saw that there had a been a breach of access along with members of TR circulating internal information around the same time of that breach...many came to the conclusion that someone associated with them was probably involved in this.

Of course the evidence isn't damning, but there's plenty of evidence that makes it more likely than not, that someone associated with TR was involved.
