This doesn't seem like it would be that hard to fix. You can actually simulate swarm kiting by charming a mob that has low hp (the low hp aggro will be enough to attract the "swarm") so clearly there must be some way to code it so that the aggro on the bard is less than the aggro on the charmed pet.

If you remember on live, if you agroed a bunch of skeletons, or any mob, without doing a single point of damage, you actually had zero threat on it. It would follow you but if anyone got closer to it, it would automatically switch to them, easy skeleton trains in kurns comes to mind. That's why swarm kiting was possible, because on initial aggro of the swarm you had zero aggro on anything, if you charm a mob they automatically aggro it because it's the closest unfriendly target.
Currently there is a minimal amount of aggro you get just from being the first to anger a mob, even if you do 0 points of damage you can't train a mob on someone unless they have one already on them, or are low hp. Whether they want to change it or not is another question, I personally don't care [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] | ||

???THIS is the actual ''swarm'' kite, not that lame aoe kite with broken range on songs.. you couldnt do that on live, needed extended notes AA mind you...

What? Of course you could do that on Live. The song ranges are the same. If anything it's harder here because mob hitboxes are longer.
