Hot take. I like that blue is completely dead because i get easy access to any camp I want 95% of the time.
That being said, I do think they should merge, but if it doesn't include the launch of a new server, it's not something I'm super invested in. The only thing that will change is that the game will be more annoying for me to play if the servers merge. I dont really enjoy playing in a late stage capitalism version of the game, hence playing on blue instead of green. economies are cooked on both servers, but at least on blue im not forced to play around annoying uber twinks and try-hard guilds. if there was a new server though where i can enjoy playing with untwinked characters, and all of us starting over and progressing together... yeah that does actually have a lot of appeal to me. the current stage of grouping is so ridiculous that it makes everquest seem like an easier game than world of warcraft. everyone running around in skyshrine armor with the best buffs in the game, nbd if anyone dies because there level 60 cleric is parked outside. like cmon dude, lets get some real classic eq going, not some easy mode wow clone.
at least when i charm on a non twinked enchanter i still feel my adrenaline going. i dont get that from the ultra twink groups who ask me to stop mezzing mobs because the mobs cant kill them and they have a damage shield. like what even is this game rn.
part of why so many of us are playing MnM im sure.
