This sounded like a pretty solid update to me compared to the "whispers" of what "he said" over mIRC. I for one am comforted that perhaps we wont have to play on servers like Red69, Zek 5.0, VZTZ L&L etc to get our PVP kicks in the coming months.

If the implication about anti-hack is truthful it's going to revolutionize EQ PVP in a way that Sony and Verant never could. Something well worth the wait to know that the guy next to you isn't gonna speed hack or instant camp, or even use radar of any kind if this is done right.
