That's why I asked the question. Isn't taking CONTROL and chasing after anything a form of pride? Why wouldn't you just remain humble and believe in God's plans for you? shovelquest exposed himself as a free will or "do as thou willt" believer. Isn't that what he said? In my opinion it is, judging by his previous post. Isn't that pride?

I mean shovel just basically said since our time here is so short, we ought to use our free will to make the best of it. Isn't that pure pride? I have a free will so I'm going to do what I want. Rather than being humble and letting God take all the control.
