Because this short time we have in this universe of entropy is worth it, because in the other one we don't know beginnings or ends and therefore can't comprehend happy or sad.

That's why I asked the question. Isn't taking CONTROL and chasing after anything a form of pride? Why wouldn't you just remain humble and believe in God's plans for you? shovelquest exposed himself as a free will or "do as thou willt" believer. Isn't that what he said?
