Can we talk about sterile screwworm fly swarms or is that too political?

They're(the federal government?) building a fly production facility in your state now or very soon I believe, Ekco.

Previously we were dependent on Canada and Mexico for sterile fly production.

The pest was a problem for the American cattle industry for decades until the U.S. largely eradicated it in the 1970s by breeding and releasing sterile male flies to breed with wild females. It shut down fly factories on U.S. soil afterward.

And addressing the original subject the mods all know that the majority of accounts in this thread (save Swish and myself) don't care about bans....so many of you actively just circumvent the ban by making new accounts.

It's why we have problems with those making multiple accounts and running up nonstop nonsense threads.

God I hope one day the Mods get access to see IP addresses on this forum so they can see abusers.

What would be considered a nonsense thread? Are we talking nonsense in the context of off topic? I guess that would mean that the thread is about P99 and therefore nonsense for an off topic forum?

Or are we going with nonsense as in something someone happens to disagree with being true or not?

Because nonsense being something you might see as silly or even untrue still falls into the spectrum of off topic
