1) price to travel not worth the joy received -- i'll spend a few thousand dollars and have maybe 1-3 good memories from the experience. Whereas at home, that few thousand dollars stretches to many more good experiences
2) you have to deal with crowds, people, and socializing -- all mostly negatives

otherwise, sure, traveling is fine [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Always been of the same opinion. Traveling for me was ruined in my childhood a little by my dad who would meticulously over-plan everything and then self-destruct when things inevitably went wrong. I just made the association then that travel = stress and it’s never left me

But you and I are by far in the minority with that outlook. I can’t even mention my dislike of travel on at least first dates because it is basically date suicide. I used to watch the girl’s faces just drop and know I fucked up with that one. “I love to travel” or “I want to see more of the world one day” is hands down one of the most relatable and useful things to put on a dating profile. But I won’t do it because I am not going to lie

But having gone to every state is pretty impressive ngl

When I was a kid and went on the first family road trip out west, my dad got so mad that we were playing with the game gear he grabbed it and chucked it out the window

In retrospect, I bet that looked pretty strange to whoever was behind us on the highway

Just booked a week long liveaboard dive boat in the Red Sea in July, and thinking about Uzbekistan in August to see some old Silk Road cultural stuff.

Starting to research something for winter too. Thinking Palawan Philippines for more diving.

Some Legoland pics. These are just 2 of me, I might post more of the park because although it was clearly more for kids there were some cool spots and rides

First pic I look angry but it’s moreso that my legs are gassed from running the boardwalk every day and so that kneeling pose is hurting

And second pic I look bored but wasn’t, at least not all the time. @ gym tho and almost outta time hur

I don't necessarily like or dislike travel, just depends on where we're talking about.

I'd love to see the grand canyon, or the pyramids. I do not want to see every stupid little town in the netherlands or whatever. Snooze me a river, danes.

Ohhhh, this is called schtrenteldudle, it's a delicious gravy biscuit dish! Who cares.
