I tried everything in this thread to avail but I have found a fix that works for me.
I found that renaming/deleting eqconfig.ini fixed this issue for me. It sucks because you have to change all of your settings again but you can copy/paste your keybindings from the old config file at least. I was copy/pasting settings from the old config file to the new one until I started experiencing the freezing again and I believe when I changed "LOGS=FALSE" to TRUE, the issue came back. I can't be completely certain because I was just kind of messing around and I may have changed another setting. I haven't found any evidence of this exact issue prior to the beginning of this thread so this is certainly new but I suspect this is an issue with the way the client (not login client but game client) is trying to send the config settings over the internet. At one point when the game was frozen, I tried browsing the forums on my other monitor and my internet was also stuck. The internet go out necessarily, it was just stuck. I was unable to replicate the internet thing unfortunately.

After some more trial and error I think I have found the culprit, at least for my PC.
In WinEQ settings/preferences I turned Sound to Off and now my game loads every time, although I no longer have sound. Hopefully the devs will read this and look into it lol
