Brad wasn't this insurmountable genius and almost 18 years later I won't forget how horribly he managed Sigil while battling a drug addiction. I already paid $100 for the CE of Vanguard in Jan 2007. Not paying $40 for an early access of another pre-alpha. Never again.

yeah, I would look at them launching even this as a major achievement. Like I imagine getting this game actually onto our PC's was exactly like that movie 1917.
I just think the graphics look a little shitty, and there are no darkelves but there are shambling skeletons...hmmm I also don't like how the camera is zoomed out so far. I can't get immersed with those wow cams.

they didn't decide to go the shitty graphic style wow clone because they wanted to,
they had to pivot after Brad claimed people wanted old everquest or w/e and only raised 200k in a week on kickstarter instead of funding in like an hour.

You're wrong. You're wrong! What we did to TTRPGs was fucking AWESOME and idiots have tried to follow our generation and failed every time. It's like, you're saying 90s anime ruined anime, because the anime in 2020 sucks. NO! That's just classic wokie brainwashing. "we're all immigrants" shut the f up no we aren't some of us are pioneers.

we're more like those light up shoes from the 90s and WoW was those shoes with half a rollerblade in the heel that went downhill straight into hell. Brad's ideas... like his unrealistic plan for the paladin epic that involved mostly puzzles n shit, like someone had to explain to him the players are shit and are going to ruin it, HE was wearing the fuckin converses, not us. dude was a dreamer "Fuck gamers, acquire dirt bikes" - Brad probably.

So it follows the same formula of killing a rat, then moving to the next zone to kill a bigger rat, then moving to the next zone and killing a bigger rat. Gonna be a pass for me

- is the gameplay loop engaging and entertaining? Even if it’s repetitive, as long as it’s engaging, people will run that treadmill - can a player separate themselves from the pack through clever use of game mechanics or gear choices? Without being able to separate selves by merit, people tend to lose interest That’s off the top of my head. But yes just repetitive gameplay is not a game killer on its own. Just look at moba’s and battle royale fps
