We've tried making our own before, but after everything is put together, its more expensive than the Carlo stuff. Does the homemade stuff taste better? Yes. However when you're in college you sacrifice the nice stuff for the cheap stuff.

Yeah I guess it would be more expensive. We tend to do that on camping trips when we take all the mushy berries, oranges, apples and what have you and mix it with the least favorite wine somebody brought. It tends to be stuff that would normally be wasted... instead it gets us wasted.

By the way, were you in Unrest last night? I think my alt was in your group for a while at the fireplace.

My girlfriend's aunt makes White Sangria in the summer time. White wine, lighter colored fruits, brandy among other things. Magical on a warm summer day.
