![]() The worst offenders are the ones that actually group with others when obviously boxing. I had this happen in Blackburrow long ago. Someone and his wife were playing. She rarely said anything, could not follow us to save her life so we would all have to stop and wait while "she" caught up with us (particularly when we'd drop down to the ramp from the top level etc. I submitted a report on the petition forum but I know this "team" is still playing on the servers. I ran into them in Upper Guk later and she couldn't follow us to the scryer properly (because that path is a bitch to navigate on one computer as it is). He'd always make an excuse like oh, she's new here, or having computer issues etc.
I've been in other instances where I suspect a two-boxer.. USually because one of the characters do a crap job healing, fighting, etc. This is particularly evident when a situation changes mid-fight.. Often someone comes close to dying while the melee switches target and the healer stands there doing nothing or the healer is healing etc and the melee is standing there doing nothing because the mob moved. I've seen this with bad players as well but sometimes it gets very suspicious. On a side-note, I'd love to learn how the GM's verify their suspicions. I have always assumed it involved getting the two players to do something simultaneously etc. with no warning (like both type something.. both do some movements..)

If it is true and the GMs aren't nice to you, I'd exact revenge on your "brother's friend" by: 1) Taping saran wrap right under his toilet seat so his #1's and #2's get reflected right back in his face (like a Damage Shield) 2) Replace half his shampoo with bleach. Over time his hair will start getting really fucked up and may start falling out if you do this long enough 3) Jam pennies inbetween the door jam and the wall of his bedroom/house door (any door that opens inwards into his room) while he is in there. Listen to him freak to fuck out. Bonus points if he ends up jumping out a second story window- 4) ? ? ? | |||

Unfortunately you're not going to find much if any sympathy on the forums. Everyone assumes guilt because the vast majority of those caught/banned are guilty and everyone assumes that the GM's have solid proof. People on the forums usually are pretty harsh so if you posted to the forums, expect a lot of negative comments. Heck, people get totally trashed at times asking for some leveling or gear advice. I do feel for you though. It's obvious that you put in a lot of time and effort on your account and it's now gone. I am quite certain that you'll never get it back. It sucks but you should probably accept it and decide what you;re going to do next.. I'd suggest taking a couple of days to let the shock and dismay wear off and then either start over on P99 with lessons learned, try playing on one of the other "easy" servers where you can level up quicker than on P99, or I guess not play any more. I'd hope you stick it out and re-roll. Long ago, when the hole first opened on live I lost my lvl 50 wizard into the hole. Long story but I wanted to have a quick look at the hole. I was moving the next day. I levitated and walked off into the hole.. Well, as we all now know, levitate is dropped upon entering and I fell to a painful death. I tried to get my corpse but I had to finish packing. By the time I was able to log on at my new house my corpse was gone and customer service back then had strict rules and no help was authorized. It really, REALLY sucked but I accepted it and moved on. I never really played my wizard after that and instead played my enchanter.

![]() just to be fair to "apparent" two-boxers:
while it is still quite possible, the excuses given are sometimes true. Sometimes (and when I say sometimes, I mean in my case and not hard to believe could be repeated) people of the same IP will be one person who wants to play, and another who does.. but just not really. Specifically, my brother played WoW at the same time. I was accused of boxing a few times, and that was because my brother was tabbed out playing warcraft. As a cleric, people would die. Then when he switched to wizard... well, it just looked like I picked a better class to box with.

![]() That sucks, I'm really sorry to hear about your account
I'd want to pummel the kids face in with a can of string beans, dear god. You should get yourself invited over his house and take his computer, or at the very least piss on his keyboard.
