I'm going to take an element of ROZ and instead of deleting the bard class I'm just going to remove all the drums? I don't like the idea of it but what can you do.

This breaks the game anyone without a bard can't even play, on live there wasn't that many bards. Also I think Nihi won because of their bards on Red99 basically single handed. They had good wizards too.

Either way controversial move by the Development Team at Project Zek but I might as well do it now before anyone actually plays here.

And actually in fact the only reason Azrael competed the few times it did was because of Lite the bard in my opinion. You cannot compete without a proper bard on classic EQ which kinda just ruins it. And if you get left out of the bard group it hurts your feelings, it's just all bad.

Same thing with enchanters. Enchanters on live were a total joke. Charm was unreliable and you couldn't cc or root anyone even with tash. With the release of rapture they were an initiator but no enchanter was doing the shit they did on these boxes.

Perma reliable charm with high chance of rooting your target is just so off note it's not even funny.

I looked for a good few hours trying to think of different ways in the DB to attack PVP settings and for the life of me cannot find a way.

I am reducing the FFA level to 20+, no level range. We're now a hardcore fucking hardcore sandbox now. Also it's all I can do. People are going to have to be rabbits for awhile.

All the PVP dev bros didn't do fucking fuck all for the open source side of this lol.

Please dont disable bard drums cause I always wanted a 60 bard with drums of the beast but never had. So fun just to run fast.

Also cause I dont think this box will be that competitive because people already won Red multiple times over and should just play around exploring how to be powerful and have fun with the game but still PVP. Plus theres no yellow text so.

This box is not about winning it's about PVPing for fun. I think if I leave it up long enough people will try it out and realize it's fun and not about being the coolest kid on the box.
