Asking to be able to do a quest isn't complaining. Imagine if you couldn't do your epic quest because people were farming it for MQ and you had to pay whatever they wanted. The price has dropped considerably over the years. It used to fetch almost double the current amount, back when the ac/ph spawn was at the bottom of the dune across from de merchants.

I do feel the game would be improved with the removal of MQs and paying for loot rights. The first is easy to implement, the second not so much.

Besides, the project seeks to emulate, not improve on, the mechanics of Everquest as they were y2k.

That said all epics shouldn't be MQ able. And epic drops should be 1000000 times more rare in order for the proper levels of classic emulation and immersion.

I refused to buy this mq when I started the game. It took a long time and some rules lawyering but I eventually got it. If you sit there and police it you will eventually win.
