I keep hearing that Paladins are largely underplayed. This works out for those who do play them as there's a lot of class-speciffic items which sell for peanuts compared to similar class items. Paladins are much like many other classes where if played well, Paladins are a great asset. If you don't learn the intricacies of the class, you will suck. I grouped once with a Paladin and he really helped the group with stuns, agro spells, etc. I rarely got agro on my enchanter thanks to the paladin really working his class.

Play a half-elf Paladin if you ant an underplayed race / class combo. (that was the race/class of my very first EQ character during EQ's launch)

And I never thought or believed Warriors were a rare class.
I think warriors are rare on P99. I see more shadow knights and paladins than warriors..

What crack pipe are you smoking? The paladin population is TINY compared to the warrior population. Which is sad, because I love watching a good paladin tanking in a group.

Ahh sorry, I think I wasn't clear.. I agreed that the warrior population was thin however I would not say that it's worse than the paladins. In the level ranges which I've been grouping, I found that warriors were not as plentiful at times. I've seen more Shadow Knights (mainly troll and ogres), some paladins and some warriors.

I completely agree that a paladin tanking is great when played by a skilled player. When playing with warriors as a main tank (when I am the enchanter), we need to shift tactics to control agro better. It slows things down a little but not that much.

I'm guessing 100 new Paladins were rolled the night after Uthgaard's chart.

I mean we play p99, we are THAT guy.

I'm gonna make one but not because of that chart, instead because of the dwarf roll video.
