From language of the patch notes, bows should have a bonus, that bonus may get doubled for stationary targets and further bonused when trueshot active.
This is likely how the fabled 1k plus velious era bowshot occurred. | ||

Still working through this.
Non-ranger bow damage is looking much better - it is essentially the same as the Nina logs previously posted using the same level, weapon, stats and npc targets. There is something wrong with ranger archery damage though. For example, in a brief test, double damage targets seem to take less damage than moving targets. It also seems that Trueshot 'works' for non-double hits but not for double-damage hits. I don't want to apply a general fix for archery without considering rangers. So, more testing to do. If there are any ranger logs, of non-Trueshot damage, that would help. | ||

A consideration as well, how do rooted dragons come into play with damage since it negates the thanked aspect?
