Anu know what. They're happy. They have no idea you exist. Their focus is on their vulak pixels. They're in the zone. One day they'll get their uber sword. Even if it's not today. And if they don't at least they had the opportunity to and got to enjoy some mahjong.

They aren't happy.

I dunno, raiding requires motivation and the willingness to be controlled aswell as being prepared to spend a lot of time failing and going home empty handed. You also have to put up with guild chat and be okay with treating non-raiing players like crap. To be a raider you have to be more like the Borg Collective than Starfleet. You have to be a bit like ants, clones, lacking individuality.

Of course, on P99 once you have the raid targets locked down it becomes a trivial matter and all you really need to do is log in once a weak to get the best items. It helps to be first on the server to gain a permanent control of the situation...being first is important.

Playing EQ is work, and if you're giving a company $15 a month to work for the company then isn't that a no paying job?

It's not like you can buy anything good with the currency you're working for. You can't buy a car or an RV or a house unless you somehow exhange MEGATONS of the stuff it for $ and to do that you need to somehow turn youself into a one man army which is where boxing software comes in.

Back in the day players did it for real but nowadays they do it on Discord while watching a Selena Gomez documentary on Netflix.
