They had their shot, look at fraps, dragon was wide open for a while. And no, when you have an entire guild sole purpose being to raid, people dedicated training and parking toons with goal to get as many targets as possible...you don't hesitate ok? Smaller guilds that have thus far proven themselves to be as scummy as anyone else on the server the second they get a taste of pixels:

All of these guilds have worked together / around one another. Since BBQ season, which could have continued indefinitely, there have been guilds who sought to make raiding more social for the majority while also attempting to decrease staff workload. That the guilds who brought about the draft have also been in agreement to see it match green's increase is a good indication of their preference--to cooperate for a better competitive environment, similar to golem races, rather than to win by any means necessary.
