This was basically verbatim my response when I read that as well lol. Followed by quite a bit of laughter IRL. I'm not at all involved with p99 endgame or any of the neckbeard drama outside of the forums. I think I'm in the discord but I've opened it like twice and barely read anything. So I hadn't really seen people spamming these phrases or whatever sparked this. At least one of the quoted terms I recall being used fairly regularly like very early on on blue. It's kinda bizarre seeing a phrase that's been used for 10+ years become a PNP violation randomly lol. Especially one that's so silly. It's not like people are dropping N bombs or something. At least that I could understand. This is the rough equivalent of banning "doodoo head" as hate speech.

First off, I'd like to commend staff on taking the initiative and accountability in attempting to clean up some of the nastiest corners of the p99 community. It's a thankless job and a voluntary one, your efforts do not go unnoticed and I recognize said efforts.

While "these phrases" may be insensitive, they are subjective. There are many people in America today that are proud to be a part of the welfare community and state as much when asked. Surely anyone can see the rise in beggars on many street corners all across the country and other examples. The trend is increasing, not decreasing.

With that being said, allow me to play Devil's Advocate for a moment concerning one sentence in Ambrogio's statement above, and particularly the second portion:
"These phrases are both insensitive and have been verbalized to degrade others."

Have you ever worked or sacrificed for any long attainable goal to have some authority come along and take or wipe away everything? All of your time and efforts are instantly devalued, one feels disrespected and disregarded, discarded in fact. How would you feel if someone came along and did the same thing to you? Wouldn't those people feel "degraded" ?

If the goal is to increase empathy and lessen the degradation of others, shouldn't we utilize a scalpel and not a chainsaw?

If you thought a server with > 2000 active players would allow a guild with ~200 active raiders to monopolize all the raid content, that's just on you for being stupid.

Nothing is being devalued. Everyone can just app to the zerg guild and get the same pixels. In fact that's the easiest way to get pixels. Getting BiS in a casual guild is the real challenge on p99.

I appd Aftermath in 2017 and logged on to a batphone for mobs pulled to me at zone to auto attack. My gharns is devalued now cause some draft guild got one.

Time and competition are being devalued. Your logic makes no sense as you still have to compete within your own guild members for loot. You're okay with competition yet only on a smaller scale.

Everything about this game is competitively based once you get beyond the bare cooperative level required . Trying to alter the nature of the game is not healthy.
