What they are saying is that the proc will cancel their debuffs on the target. So while kiting, darkness, fear, etc could be cancelled.

I’d consider an Iceflame for the price of a Vindication. There are other affordable 2h’s as well. Of all the stuff to spend a bit more plat on I wouldn’t ever spend less for a worse ratio.

Agreed, on a budget Iceflame is the way to go, and you do NOT want Vindication. The Cancel Magic proc will indeed disrupt your fear kiting solo, and various other things in a group. While the ratio on that weapon is good for the price, the proc is a huge negative most of the time for a Shadowknight.

Shadowknights get Cancel Magic as a spell, so you should just use that if you need to remove Thorns or other annoying buffs from a mob. It's a lot more consistent than trying to proc Vindication, and Cancel Magic doesn't cost a lot of mana.

I can vouch for iceflame. this thing slaps at 30+ 100% worth it.
