Matt Smith is charming but that did not save Morbius. I know even less about LOTR and I am skeptical
Wheel of Time I thought was c-grade syfy channel stuff. Which isn't an insult. But I never read those books so it didn't matter much

I think had I not read the books I would’ve liked the show more. Having read them, it was terrible
I think the house of the dragon will be garbage. Once Martin’s material ran out, GoT went down hill. I doubt this will be much better I’m hopeful but not optimistic about LoTR.

This is the one I've been curious to see since the early 90's: https://popculture.com/movies/news/b...know-so-far/#3
There's a hell of a lot of reasons to be skeptical and I'm prepared for disappointment, but it'd make an interesting movie/tv if it's done right Did you fellers watch Foundation and/or read the books? I thought it was far from perfect but it turned out a lot better than I thought it would be, considering how much they kind of had to rearrange. Lee Pace landed that bird, though

Foundation is one of my favorite book series but sadly, the wife hated the first episode
She like me does not like ugly people and that cast needed more attractive people. Only show with an ugly cast I ever got her to watch was the expanse and that’s because the hoarse cigarette voice lady is Iranian

Oh man I really like the foundation tv series. I have not read the books.
I love how they killed all the AI sympathizers after the AI war that's metal.

Read the books, they are very good if you appreciate history and sci-fi
Roman Empire transposed thousands of years into the future with a mathematician who has basically made prophecy into calculus

They’re not long either. Isaac Asimov writes in such a way that they go quickly. The books taper off in quality but they’re still worth reading
