He’d tell me he was in love with her and I’d be like “bro you never met her”. And he’d be like “we have phone sex, we are in a serious long distance relationship”. I think it was like his first “girlfriend”

He proposed to her and they had an in-game wedding. He proposed to her IRL and she said yes, having never met him. Then when it came time, she got cold feet and told him she had cancer and was going to die and lost all her hair to chemo and couldn’t meet him. I tried to tell him it was probably a lie because she got cold feet but he didn’t believe me. He knew she was in Utah or something, and he actually flew to Utah and then drove around random streets trying to find her. Borderline stalker-ish shit…

It crushed him. Hopefully he learned a lesson to meet the girl in person before you propose :/

Oof, I remember a guildie back in the day posting a thread on the guild forum looking for a girlfriend, listing his income/assets etc. Suuuuper cringy. He got called out in the thread by a bunch of people. Never saw him in-game again. I thought that was bad, but this..... yeesh.
