fizzles in eq are a direct holdover from ultima online, where every spell required regeants and a fizzle ate the regeants without casting the spell, which was a monetary hit. fizzles in eq are just annoying because mana is unlimited, and they fuck you over in crucial moments. bad design brad

I dunno camping them is fine if you've got lots of 5 minute chores to do between spawns, like boiling an egg, making a bed or masturbating 5 times in a row.

Honestly, no offense but your posts make you sound like exactly what you are accusing these other people of being

JD is sort of right, but not for the reasons he thinks, or at least wrote out.

Allowing Bead concentration will increase the amount of beads on the server. That's because of the churn. The vast majority of gear sits in inactive accounts. Every day someone stops playing and takes their beads with them. But people who are willing to camp beads several times are dedicated. They have long-term plans and they will stick around. So the beads they farm will be available for sale in 3-4-5 months, whatever, whereas the beads farmed by single farmers will be attritioned by casual player churn.

Yes, this is the point that should be made.
