I chose Iksar as well and haven't regretted it yet, tried a human monk but couldn't get him past 12.

Iksars are probably the better monk race but a 40% experience penalty is annoying. Plus you can't move around as easily as a human.

Iskars are better monks. Due simply to regen. Hell I think they even get a higher ac bonus.

Of course humans is a sign of the "old school" monk who knows wtf to do. I have only seen 3 monks on this server worth calling "cream of the crop". So being a human monk isn't really a sign of anything on this server.

If you're comparing fists, at 60 there is something wrong. So it doesn't matter.
