There's lots of pvp on red I died 3x this month in pvp to ppl on my cleric.
EQ pvp isn't about 'killing pvp 1v1' it's about forming guilds and making friends and fighting the other guys and pks vs antipks. Lots of Valorrous Elves RPing and PvPing on red in the name of justice, liberty, freedom, and just general shenanigains everywhere. If u want arena style pvp try fortnight or wow. If you want an epic character arc and freedom to fully express yourself out side of typing /list try red.

P99 has been a thing for over a decade now. Log off for a while. It will very likely still be here if you want to return.

I predict p99 will run concurrently with EQ classic and EQ live until basically there's no more old computers, @ which point unity will be the only option and we'll all simulate an entire p99 universe in our quantom computer implants while we man our bridge stations on a Galaxy Class Starship.

the problem isn't overpopulation, it's that all you snaggletooths only want the top .1% of farming locations.

I have had a ton of fun on green and continue to, I'm sorry for your envy op.
Everquest and this server in general are very much an allegory for real life; you think you want the fancy yacht, and once you attain the fancy yacht, it does not seem so fancy. You find meaning and belonging where you can, and you are much better off for it; from the casual to the hardcore. Thanks this has been EQ therapy 2020 you will be receiving a bill in the mail. A pre-paid return envelope is included for your convenience.
