![]() Added the base models for a MALAKIN and a RAT.
The malakin is a small humanoid (not a playable race) that wields daggers as if they were short swords. They are intelligent enough to know that wearing armor is circumstantially beneficial and most certainly the leaders of the various malakin tribes signify their position with the finest of the garments and armor the tribe has been able to seize. Malakins are predominantly scavengers and depend on the leather working and blacksmithing of more skilled races for most of their supplies. That being said, they do make crude attempts to duplicate their scavengings including cultural offerings of cloth and leather armors. If they don't have access to a sharpened metal then they rely on their numbers, agility, claws and fangs to do as much damage as possible to their rivals. Of all things that malakins consider luxury, sweet thickened milk is nearly as valuable as gold. It is known that captured malakins can turn loyalties, be taught commands, and even be freed from their shackles if treated well with sweet thickened milk over a number of months. These turned malakins (treated with the sweet milk) resist the temptation to rejoin their tribe even if they have the opportunity to do so. Some have postulated that a malakin's response to thickened sweet milk is on account of the unusually sour breast milk of birthing malakin females which causes them to seek other sources of nutrition quickly forming more of their attachment to the tribe than their family. https://imgur.com/a/5T34vtO [You must be logged in to view images.
