These always annoy me. Room pre-cleared, character pre-buffed with buffs from other classes. This one even uses a second character to pull the mob.

Yes, an Illis can kill the king if you cast enough bedlam or runes and get lucky it doesn't break during the fight.

Start unbuffed at the zone line. Then it's solo. This is just a set-piece.

You can check the past broadcast if you want, but I cleared the room solo on my enchanter. Both my characters were completely self buffed except on my enchanter where I had some leftover Spirit of Ox buff from my monk friend's Thurg pants click or something. Sorry for annoying you though, lesson learned never try anything ever.

What he complained about was just due to the fact that I highlighted the interesting part and left out the preparation. Sugz you better make damn sure that room has all 3 pops in it next time while you kill the king. How dare you clear a space to fight a named mob.

I used to solo it as a Monk in the wee hours when people weren't lurking around. (waaaaaaaaay before Kelz my evil twin). It was always a pain having to recharge a few clickies after each King, hoping not to lose the camp in the meantime.

I always dreamed about doing it on my chanter too. I was playing around with Zaxis agro from crypt entrance, but there were mostly always a few people up top. I also considered tash, zoneout, ball of yarn. But never got around to testing.

Last thing I considered was to just clear the entire area and possibly camp up on top of the king "castle" the tiny walls block sight.

Anyhoo. Incredible feat! I got hella rich from soloing it on my Monk hehe have fun with all the twinks!
