The magic of being a dev for a server where you were 12 when you played the game, and you're recreating an imagine of what you think you were playing. This has been the case on P1999 for as long as memory goes back on this server, it's simply a recreation of how rogean 'saw' norrath, not how it was.

And despite other evidence of all types, your anecdotal experience for how FD works, how sneak works, how invis and rogues works, how drop rates were, where spawns where, what spawns existed is solely from your pubescent memory; means your server ends up like this.

Which is fine, as it's as good as the price we pay for it. And it's been 7 years and 4 corrupt GM's since I've donated, so who's to say we have a right to complain [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

To be that bitter and resentful towards people who keep this project going on a volunteer basis, I don't understand. People like yourself are why the expression "no good deed goes unpunished" exists.

Anyway, I'm sure more goes into their decision making than one guys memories.

Did you seriously just call this an experience worth having without the actual manastone? That is beyond fucked.

Living in your parents basement in EQ opposed to having a full time job and a real world life aren't what make you good at EQ IMO.

Maybe i'm just jealous.

I think I'll concentrate on leveling first and then camping toys when half the population gets bored and leaves at least halving the wait times..
