There's nothing worse than someone who got lucky thinking they did something with skill.

The lake rathe rathe mountains route is the elite correct third path to get from West to East.

Most of us classic guys somehow came from faydwer or Freeport to the katanas via highpass because it was part of normal progression. Less people remember or know about the rathe pass which is pretty damn roomy and doesn't require bum rushing gnolls and orcs.

Man I love vanilla eq. Wtb custom vanilla progression server that just custom back fills vanilla content for extra depth.

I wanted to be sure because I was pretty sure it was tight enough to not be able to avoid agro, but it is true you can squeeze through if you go up the wall right here. Roomy is not the word I would use, if you dont drop down from the wall I got agro every time, so you have to be careful going east to west more so than west to east because of the zone-line. I also fell for 64 points of damage going from West to East but yea it is doable without invis which is nice.

Also btw these gnolls conned 1 blue, many yellow, and a couple red at level 8 and there was no group there, it looked lush with exp [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

(The arrow indicates collision that you cant climb up but then can and must to avoid aggro going east west)

I conceed its dooable but not that its easy! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Edit: But anyway the point is, go west to exp there is many mobs! (or stop at the orcs obviously)

I'll probably make the trek at level 9 on my ranger when I get camo. Qeynos area is a shitshow atm. I wanted to try it because I never leveled through the Qeynos area before and it was pleasant on the green beta. Now, there were 60 people in blackburrow when I poked my head in with like 10 people camping individual spawns on the top level. Noped right the f out of there.
