green server dead on arrival?

The relevance of blue has reached its end. Looking at the most recent announcement, a merge of green into blue at the end of green's timeline goals is up in the air. You absolutely know that this translates into "we'll do what's best for the community" and if the majority of the community is on green and cackling with delight at giving blue raiding grognards the middle finger, then that's what's going to happen.

I'll be happy to dig this up close to 4 years from now when Blue's a ghost town.

I wonder why they've stepped back from the original merger plan. It seemed straightforward and logical. What would you speculate changed their minds?

Yeah, can't imagine why more people don't want to play in a cesspool populated with people who's identity is wrapped up in how well they elf sim fight to the point that they think everybody who doesn't want to play with them (which, in case you haven't noticed, is almost everybody) is just scared of them.

Why would I spend my time on green beta? I'm gonna play the real thing when it comes out. I know what I'm in for.

You should work on 840/840 instead of posting things like this.

I'd argue Green Beta is a lot different though. You have to acclimate to a new ruleset and even UI. Testing "Velious content" is wandering through enormous white zones to find out that yep, that mob does indeed have an enormous HP pool.

i'd agree, testing velious was much more convenient and simple and people still wouldn't do it, so it's not surprise they aren't lining up for green beta either

I can't speak for anyone else, and I realize this is a troll thread, but I haven't played Green BETA at all, and plan on playing Green when it releases as my main (and probably only) server.

I know a few others who are in the exact same mindset as me too, and I don't really talk to all that many people. So....
