Auction Zone on Green

I would love it to be NFP so my own personal nostalgia can be fulfilled haha. In reality I don’t think there’s any way to force players to go anywhere except EC since it’s so baked into the Blue mentality.

Tunnel makes more logistical sense, faction-wise. On Veeshan it was NFP, which was cool but did definitely require faction for those of us not friendly with them.

No faction required. You can get around via the sewers for evils. Bank was right there, albeit that took a little maneuvering for some to access.

I played on a north Freeport server too and would prefer it was back there, but I have no delusions that it would be possible to move it on green. EC is far too established on P99 and was by far the most common choice in classic, for good reasons I'll begrudgingly admit.

EC makes sense. I came from Tunare where it was Gfay. It made sense on Tunare because the vast majority of population was non-human good race. It wasn't exactly common to group with an ogre or troll until kunark release. I was DE myself.

Its going to be EC which is where it was for most blue servers.

I like Gfay way better, and it is the appropriate place for PVP servers.

My live server was Brell, and the default trade zone was Gfay for a good year or so into the servers life. Then people making evil race characters started posting up in EC and there was a shift in trade zones. Some people stubbornly stuck to Gfay for a while, but they eventually gave in when customers stopped showing up.

Two spots if I recall in Gfay, kelethin bank platform and the spires.

Personally I like EC better. Quick to get to with a port, easy to get to with a walk. Evil banks nearby as well as good banks. Great crossroads.

Evil people arriving late was mostly due to lack of class selection right? Not because they got stuck on tree roots alot... =)
