Don't buy players overpriced retro-nerf items

If they are retroactively nerfed, yes. There are a few that aren't, but most get the nerf bat.

Some do, some don't. It depends on the item.

I think the new versions of items that aren't retroactively nerfed are given slightly different names usually.

If you're genuinely concerned with the morality of players, I would recommend composing a list of the high priced items you feel are going to get nerfed and try to get a Dev's decision on what's going to happen to them. Finding out the facts should be the first priority. Otherwise this is pointless.

We all know this server is meant to be as close to a mirror of a live EQ server as possible. That being said, most of us who played the game in this era know most if not all of the items that eventually get a nerf. There is absolutely no reason why the developers of this server would stray from that whatsoever, unless they completely changed their minds on how they want the server to be.

If you know of an item that got nerfed in live, it WILL get nerfed on here. I don't have to be a dev to tell you I'm 99% positive that is what is going to happen.

Legit rant IMO. I felt the same way about anyone paying > 15k for a CoS. It's just idiocy, and idiocy is irritating -- especially from rich people. If you can't bitch about fortunate morons in Rants n Flames, where can you?

I still see people asking every day which dock leads to Kunark and how do I get to Erudin from BB. Of course, I'm guessing those people won't have the kind of money with which to afford any of these nerfed items in the near future anyway.

And I was going to make a post about the possibility of the Devs telling you to fly a kite, but I deleted it. Asher got it in though at the end of one of his posts. Just compile a list of stuff with some solid data from the past and you should be gtg.
