shana, id say some good places for you to kite in skyfire mountains (great to get 42+) specally for those lvl 30-42 (kite in the ot), emerald jungle is great (i dont know anything about traks teeth, been there few times for epic raids back in 03)

zones you will be invited to, karnors castle, great place to do 50-55 quick, lots of trains, and i mean shit ton of trains, chardok is one of my favorite kunark zones, ive never been to seb (to me it seems like the lower guk of kunark) necros will flock to here to camp stuff

charasis ive been to alot, great fun zone (if not mistaken i think theres alot of undead mobs, and to get in you gotta get a key, same for seb)

i didnt lvl up in kunark time, was a lowbie rog and pal of lvl 15 and 20 at that time

but i remember people lvling 20-30 in lake of ill omen, 35-45 was dreadlands, 40-50 city of mist (one of my other favorite zones) (im only naming zones i am familiar with)
Basically, Tralina... Avoid people like ^^ like the plague. It's better to duo with someone else who doesn't know, then to blindly follow somonee who *thinks* they know to certain death.

As a druid, you can have good success duoing with a necro or even stacking dots with a shammy. Both will gladly welcome your snare, tracking abilities, magic-based dots (stacks well with their poison/disease/fire), SOW, and portability. Classes like mage who traditionally wouldn't be ideal partners would still often welcome you for SOW, regen, and portability, too. Never hurts to ask.

Another silly sekret is this : there's tons of places in classic to level to 53 (where you get sup heal and are a lot more group friendly). And a few minutes with google should give you all the info you need to find some quad-kiting hotspots if that's your thing, too.

Is there something similar to the EC tunnel where I can idle all day while people run past me in awe of my existence?

it depends, but i never did kiting there really, told my friend to go to ot to do lvl 30-40 fast, which he did, and he jumped into that zone, i think the Wurms are a bit easier to do (but are lvl 45-50 i think)

Levelling a druid if you like to solo in kunark is great. The outdoor zones all have animals in them, you can charm stuff alot and do great.

low 30s to 40 you can do it in the overthere.. The rhino's are AMAZING pets, and charm works really really well on them, as well as tigers/tigeresses

low 40s ish, dreadlands is also great. You can charm the spiders and use them as your pet.

both zones are outdoors, and are just really good for kiting as well. I would stay very far away from skyfire, Gnar is abs right, the drakes there dispell you constantly and its really annoying. It is however good in the top corner above overthere, there are alot more wurms and wyverns there, and very few drakes. the exp is horrible in skyfire tho, considering the huge amount of hp mobs have. I wouldnt suggest going there until 53+ when you have winged death, and even then personally I wouldn't go there to exp unless farming spells.

Anymore questions you have about levelling in kunark as a druid I can help ya out
