You seem honest enough OP that you don't deserve extra bashing.
To address your "EQ rush right now" tho, just start an alt for 30 days,
farm stuff for your main, and when you can play your main again play it clean and have fun. I guess it's for people like you that they give a second chance on first offense.
Not defending what you did but it's just a game, and if you want to play it right now go for it.

I'm curious what you used as an excuse to get the initial IP Exemption.

Everyone's saying it seems like you're remorseful and you are admitting you're wrong. But all I see is someone who lied to get an IP Exemption, and then got caught cheating once he was granted the IP Exemption he lied to get.

That's a more long thought out process than the "Oh, I only wanted to kill some fish" excuse. There was time put behind your cheating.
Always had a VPN and played on red never had a problem. Asking for an exemption just so you can two box is asking for trouble.

Well, back almost a year ago, my wife and I decided to try p1999, since we had both played EQ (though on the same account, when we were in college and poor) back in college in 2001-2002. I liked it, she didn't, so she only played to about level 12. Then I got busy with a new job and didn't want to play for a while.

When I came back about a two weeks ago, I couldn't convince her to start playing again, so I started a new character (enchanter). I used her old account to make the new warrior to kill the fish.
