Bard for me. Bard never really interested me because I always saw them as a support class that was dependent on core classes. I still think that is true to some extent, with the exception of AE kiting, but I didn't realize how much I'd enjoy playing the support role in groups. IMO bard is the most difficult class to master and play effectively in groups. The difference between a good bard who knows how to adjust their play style to varying group composition, and a bad bard who just plays the same few songs and doesn't take initiative can be huge.

Rogue!

I had been one a longgg time ago as my first character....but it just lacked all the utility and fun of other classes. Can't really solo well, can't do heroic stuff in tight situations, all it can really do is poke good....

But then I discovered the true fun of adventure with a rogue! Leveling up untwinked, picking guards shields and fighting giants.

And, of course, the best part being able to sneak around places I never been before. It was actually exciting sneaking around places where I knew if anything saw me or if I pressed the wrong button I was instantly doomed. I found myself actually sneaking up on corners and trying to peak around them as I inched through dungeons.

The game completely changes when you approach it that way....and forget about just leveling and items and start exploring.

I mained a wiz on live, and pretty much missed out on everything in terms of group content. Never really touched a dungeon, just soloed to 50, and then 60. I never cared about doing alts back then as the time investment just seemed to great. Now, I have an enchanter, necro, and bard. All 3 classes I was kind of envious of back in the day. Have to say, i was missing out big time because all 3 are incredibly fun in every aspect of the game.

I'm thinking a hybrid melee class next...sk, pally, or ranger.

Necromancer grouping experience. Charming is a bloody snorefest in comparison.
