Most necros in KC suck. I have started kicking PUG necros that think it is okay to never pump mana, never heal, and NEVER charm (your summon pet SUCKS --- deal with it and charm). LAZY ASS NECROS ruin the class for the people who play it right. Stop sucking.

Roll a mage if you want to hit /assist /pet attack all night.

Partly right, partly wrong. I have been confirmed as one of the best necromancers on the server by anyone who has ever grouped with me [Ayliket Vy'Neroth (AKA Vyneroth AKA MACE QUEST)]. When I am grouping I typically assume one of a couple different roles. However if you are in KC and not Charming then you probably are just lazy since the zone is littered with undead. The only reason I can see not having a Charm is if your group doesn't have a priest and you are playing as primary healer (which I have done dozens of times at LCY/Hands/Basement) and then the Rogue Pet is perfectly acceptable. The Rogue pet is honestly not that far behind a Charm for DPS if you can make sure he is always Backstabbing. If the necromancer is being asked to do a lot for the group then the Rogue pet is perfectly fine IMO.

In KC a well played Necromancer is the best possible addition to a group there is. Great CC with paralyzing earth, capability to main heal in a pinch and hands down best secondary healer, charm DPS if needed, 54+ rogue pet is awesome, twitches for cleric/chanter, they can honestly fill just about every role but tank if needed to.

This is why necromancers are one of the 4 master classes (chanter/shaman/necro/cleric) and 55+ we don't need any plebian warriors/monks/rogues/pally/sK/ect/ect and we duo/trio all the high level zones without you retards.

People don't understand how powerful Necromancers are and it bothers me immensely.
