supply and demand and also the amount of platinum going into players pockets from actually farming mobs and selling gems counts. If youre constantly giving plat back to NPC's for reagents/recharges then there is going to be very little plat that actually stays floating around. Ever since the gem pinata's have been nerfed people not really sure where to farm money other than hill giants and a few other places.

its a virtual economy on a perma-classic server...the only thing that is changing is the players.
sure, time has a factor to play but only in as much that time changes players and how they play. time doesn't change the game itself. the amount of plat in "circulation" is also something to consider, but aside from a general price level changes of some goods (enhanced by shifting player supply and demands) its generally not a game changer imo. players on p99 have changed.

Sadly, all of you are wrong.
The basis of p99 economy is based on currently unobtainable items. These items, such as the Circlet of Shadows, are the gold bullion against which platinum is weighed. However gold can only be made with iron or in this case steel and so you will find that the macro economy is forged in the Fine Steel. West Freeport is a Fine Steel City-state and sir Lucan dlere is secretly supported by the Dwarven Insurrection Brigade and their shipments of dwarf forged fine steel. This is why you see two fine steel weps on West Freeport guardd but it also is tied into the reason they have two eyes. We won't get into that atm because you need to understand that fine steel is the backbone of thus economy. The rarest and most desirable item is the unobtainable Evil Eye lens currently in my possession. I accidentally clicked one charge off if it while chained to t2 in EC in my slave elf whore but it's still in pretty good shape. You see, mama stone and beads are actually very common, heavily farmed items whereas my evil eye lens is the rarest item in the game and is usable to all classes and races and although there is another evil ey lens (2 eyes, 2 eyes in wfp guards, 2 FS wep,, do you get it now? So if you need to complete your eye set I am telling you I have got the other lens. I have received numerous offers from Gnomish Rebel forces to trade this Evil Eye Lens for shipments of 5000 Fine Steel weapons. These are most likely Kaladim Forged due to the Geotechnical map of Faydwer, of course. However Misty Thicket is actually pretty anti gnome and I can't be sure if these gnomes are really agents of king akanon, who I will not empower further. Though I could use those 5000 steel weapons to finally outfit a large army of halflings to reclaim Kithicor it would not be worth it due to the impact of my Evil Eye lens in the corrupt continent of elves. Would you have the gnomes take felwithe I would not and so I am now entertaining offers from any and all weapon dealers who are interested in the most valuable item in the world and can help me to arm the greatest coalition of halflings fighters Antonica has ever seen. The gorge will be ours. The Eastern Karanas next. And we will sweep like a furry footed plague across the hinterlands until we sack the. Economic capital of the world, the giants of Rathe. Vote Filbus Now to Reclaim Antonica!!

sorry I will try to use the enter key from now on Izmael. That reminds me of the time my brother was writing a paper for one of his college classes and had a lot of formatting problems but was able to talk his way to a B. I won't bore you with the details but that is how I learned the true art of blackmail. Forwards
