Everyone should start a new iksar so all the leet leveling places are open for me.

With the weigh limit, a negative ac hit for weight above 15 at level 1 and ending at 25 at level 60 it would be very unwise to roll a monk as your primary character. This is in itself what made monks a pain to play. They can't haul around loot, they can't haul around coin for rezzes.

I played a monk on live till GoD and I can assure you that a monk is a fantastic secondary character. But never retire your primary if you plan on using a monk. Your dps is adequate but not superior to nearly all other dps. Even a warrior can put out near monk damage. Every class is nearly a better role for DPS because they bring SOMETHING else.

For those claiming that monk=rogue dps, no way if the rogue is a hero and skills up poisons.

Monk is a fantastic "wanderer" style class. Self sufficient, mostly. A great partner. A monk is powerful alone or added to 1 or 2 other players. But his power is diminished among more people because dps becomes less of concern at a higher body count.

i think the most difficult experience an iksar necro will ever face is whether to name their toon Qarma Qameleon or Lizurd Blud. After that, well.. easy mode.
