2. The entire situation was a miscommunication, but an INNOCENT one. We're an up and coming guild, growing and trying to do bigger things. Abiatharr is my co-leader and he handles raids. SYNNON is my epic fight coordinator and he handles things like VSR.

3. I'm not a raider. I'm a complete rookie when it comes to this end game stuff. I'm learning and one day I'll be as experienced as anyone, but for now my basic story is this is my first guild and all things considered I think I'm doing a pretty good job. I've always been a leveler; I have one of every class between 20-56. HOWEVER...

3.5 This is my responsibility as well and I totally and completely apologize. I left it in the hands of two guys I trust (and still trust despite their mistakes last night) and figured all would be ok. I figured everyone was on the same page as far as the final looting/rolling was concerned. Next time it doesn't matter what raid is taking place I will 100% be on top of making sure EVERYTHING is coordinated before any INC message.

4. Carnage brought some key pieces to the raid and that's why VSR melted in 30 seconds. They definitely contributed despite having "only" 3 guys. So take that into consideration. It's not an excuse for what happened - it's just stating a fact.

5. Abiatharr wrote a lengthy apology. This is mine. I truly am sick about this because TSS has been nothing short of amazing. Yes, they're a strong raid guild and we want to continue our alliance with them, but first and foremost they're full of amazing people (not counting the coward here who wants to trash our name anonymously). That's what bothers me the most about this. A handful of them simply don't care. Their 60 druid said it was whatever. Their leader said it was whatever. Another handful are understandably pissed and feel cheated. I completely understand.

6. I may be right in assuming this computer blue guy is Aitiera who sent some berating tells to Abiatharr telling him how horribly he handled things and that he'd never, ever help my guild again. It was the opposite of classy and it was uncalled for. Be better than that.

7. CLEARLY my guild isn't going to be in on some conspiracy to BLATANTLY screw over our allies over one drop. This wasn't a fungi or some 200k item. And considering how fast VS went down we can easily do this again. Think about that before believing some baseless claim that we did this on purpose. It makes no sense.

8. My guild, like most of p99, is full of mature, cool dudes. We don't "steal pixels" and we didn't do this on purpose. It was just a major, yet innocent mistake that came down to miscommunication. That's 100% what happened.

9. As the very top guy in DB I've already made the decision to give BOTH stones to TSS next time we do this. All I know is we'll be able to do this MANY times and everyone is gonna end up with their stones. We can sacrifice one VS kill in order to make things right and show a sign of good faith.

10. Don't come running to rants and flames about shit guys. Be better than that. Handle things professionally. Months back some idiot named Shamsade decided to steal items in EC. Another idiot HERE decided to make a throwaway joke that I was Shamsade, despite the fact that I've made damn near a million plat all on my own in my 3 years on p99. I have two fungis. I have one of every class fully twinked. I'm a plat farmer and leveler. I have ZERO reason to steal shit. The point of #10 is to say it's classless to try and trash someone's reputation - whether it's an individual or an entire guild. We had a miscommunication between two guys who are extremely sorry and I can assure you it will <never> happen again, because if it does I'm /guildremove'ing whoever screws up.

11. If you've made it this far, good. I highly doubt I'll be back here for more replies because I've said everything I need to say. I think Rants and Flames is basically another name for Troll Land. This isn't a healthy place. So understand this was an innocent (if not dumb) mistake and was NOT, I repeat, was NOT intentional.

12. We've apologized profusely. It will never happen again. Next VS kill is going to see both stones go to TSS. And I hope we can all move tf on from this so we can get back to having fun as friends.

Nope. I responded with my tag above. OP is not me.

I sent Abiatharr a single civilized tell that said along the lines of "I will not be actively helping on a DB raid again and will do my best to convince my guilders to follow suit given what happened." And I told him that he handled he situation poorly.

I stand by that statement. I don't believe it was 100% miscommunication. His timing during the entire thing was too sketchy for me.

I feel like co-op guild events/raids are more scattered than 1 guild running the show. Perhaps the involved guilds,.. if in the future,.. should elect the lead officer on at the time to communicate with other assigned lead officers whom are online.

That way it falls into the officers laps instead of RnF name calling.
