Items Just Not Worth The Time Spent Camping

The Goblin Jacuzzi ring no doubt for me. I spent 4 different days on different toons, got courier to spawn no problem. He never, ever dropped the Goblin Jacuzzi ring!

Always drop goblin spirit ring to tease me though.

I hate how you got to watch the quick spawns too, look away for half a minute and miss wandering spawned mobs and you got to round up everything again and destroy.

Just a PITA camp imo.

i don't liek camping things because it take a lot of time for maybe nothing. also, it usually something you do alone, which make it less fun. if i going to sit alone, i gonna do something else, liek meditate or read or write or draw or stretch or, well that about it.

baiting not a solo activity though. gotta have someone to bait or bait you. i think it best when you bait one another though and most preferably have a audience. it become a game of strategy, a meating of minds (*^^*)

Goblin Jacuzzi, absolutely. 8 10-slots full of spirit ring, carpal tunnel, and no ring after hours and hours of camping. It's a bargain at 7k.

This camp broke me last year and I had to take 3 months off EQ afterwards. When I came back I deleted my 40 necro so I wouldn't be tempted to go back. And it never dropped.

This experience led me to creating an EQ rule for myself: never camp a rare drop off a rare mob.

Was this quest easier once upon a time? I did it on my paladin probably 4+ years ago and don't remember it being a pain at all. I've heard nothing but horror stories recently though. Maybe the spawn changed?
