I don't want a server wipe. I don't have a lot of time to play. So, my leveling has been slow. My highest character is only lvl 17 (Magician) after 11 months. Though, this also includes a lvl 12 druid and 3 other lower lvl characters.

I certainly don't want to start over again.

Like I said, I don't have a lot of time on the game. I'm lucky to get a few hours on a weekend. In fact, from late June to late December last year, I wasn't on at all due to real life. Also, since the beginning of January, I've been trying other classes while my sister levels up a Shaman (currently lvl 9) to duo with my Mage.

The truth says,

A server wipe would be awesome.
thats imo the mainreason why ppl will start a toon on live progression. fresh starts have always been exciting in eq, especialy when they come with a brandnew server too.

I think the reason alot of people are thirsting for it is because a majority of the people who started on this server have left. With the rest of us finding out about it much later in its life, it's frustrating when a portion of the few who have remained from the beginning have a stranglehold on alot of the content. We just want a chance at stuff that's perma-camped or poopsocked, and a wipe would set an equal ground instead of all of us *hoping* the *OG's* will move on or by having to play by their rules to get at content. I think some people would get pissed and leave, but those are most likely going be the same individuals with an iron-grip on all the high-value items/resources which unfortunately don't represent a large/newer portion of the population at this point.

Seems like the same people are camping shit over and over and not because they need something, because they have nothing else to do but plat hoard. Well how about they re-lvl a toon (giving them something to do and if they say "Im not going to do that again fuck you" they probably are burnt out and should play something else for awhile anyways) and also give the rest of us a chance at some content that at the current time is very difficult to get a shot at.

I mean the same 2 guilds have killed the same few bosses a million times, and STILL will poopsock and camp them. I know its not a magic cure for limited content availability, but I would hope it would relieve alot of pressure for about... I don't know..... say 1 1/2 years?

I always thought that greed for items is what ruins the game experience. To both, farmers and not farmers.
