nilbog investigated anti-plug code at one point, and again, that went nowhere.

I'm guessing a handful of small children ruined that one too. Its always just a select few people on AON nameplates, anti-plug, and blue copy issue that prevent the majority of the server from seeing any real change.

But its all in the name of keeping something classic that wasn't really classic.

The so-called "safe" decision. Lets have us another safe decision on nameplates.

I mean be real doc, eq is about the least skillfull pvp game on the computer. It requires a dangerous level of understanding about a completely obsolete game, as well as a 100% autistic level of buff preperation.

The real nostalgic amazing aspect is that it is a complete immersive non instanced world where griefing is encouraged by necessity. As far as simple even pvp gaming, anything is better.

It isn't even a debate. The illusion ruins PvP if people don't cheat to get around it. Most people do cheat to get around it so the people suffering most are the ones following the rules. It is common sense that it is bad for the game.

Even if the illusion showed name plates it would be a top tier item. People would still want it just as much.
