The inverse could also said to be true. If you're only 24 by the time you have 2000 plat you are doing something wrong.

In Swamp of No Hope is where I made all the money I needed to 'get started' with gear, I was broke as hell before then.

There is this named frog called Soblohg, he drops like 3-9pp each loot and can drop nice vendor trash (like Ruby Crown that sells for 200p or other stuff selling 119p or so). Can also drop Jacinth, Diamonds, Black Sapphires, and Blue Diamonds.

The drop rate isn't that common, my record was something like 30 spawns with no drops, so not the greatest camp although I've had some great runs on the loot (like 6 drops in 14 kills or something). He has 2 spawn points, I think the wiki only lists the first one, his other one is on east side of zone near the zone wall along the water line, spawns next to a tree. He is a 6 min spawn but he is buggy, I've killed him and he has insta spawned on the other side.

As a cleric you can bind by his spawn point on east side, kill him, then run to his other spawn and kill him, gate back. Careful as a guard roams near him and I'm guessing you are KoS. If you don't kill his East spawn fast enough two things can happen: 1) He will roam towards cabilis and a guard will kill him, or 2) he will survive the cab run then wander north and get lost amongst the trees, can take a while to find him.

He's not a great farm for higher levels, but he got me all the gear I needed on my monk (haste, weapons, full Black panther, stat items for all my slots). Only pain is someone may be farming him and you either wait or are screwed. I probably made 15k on this guy by level 35, but Blue Diamond market was 2k each back then, more like 1k now.

Good luck if you try this! find me online for any questions.

I think you are doing well for platinum.

You have less going out than coming in, and that is the important thing really.

Focus on efficiency, improving your max mana is not going to improve the speed you regain mana.

I was healing KC basement just fine with a 41 cleric with junk gear (and I mean junk; slots filled with mesh from guk. Under 120 wis)*.

Don't sit at 100% mana, this stops you from regaining mana with meditate; cast something useful. On the other hand don't waste mana (or med ticks) on casting unnecessary spells.

Check /who for enchanters in zone and /target their name. If you can target them ask them to /rtarget you and C.

*part of the reason I went to KC is the Jarsath armor actually upgraded a few of my slots.

If you try to use your mana efficiently and /role or /anon I am confident you can heal many/all of the camps there fine at your level. The helm, wrist and legs have good wisdom. The gloves have some mana. They all have good AC. Excellent choice on the robe, btw. Good fashion questing!

I peeped at your Magelo and your gear is more than adequate for your level. Congrats on getting the Aegis, that is the most horrible quest/camp in the game.

make sure the group gives you random drops no one really wants to hold that are mostly 300-500 vendor trash

if you are a good cleric, most groups will do what it can to keep you happy and sitting

Default Need plat and dont want to worry about dying then Bandit sash Quest is for you.

So the temple karana in Qeynos has the famous Bandit Sash quest.

What is this quest you ask Well the karana's are infested with bandit kill them. They will drop 1 or 2 gold in coins and the human monk looking ones can drop Bronze weapons. THEY also have a chance to drop BANDIT SASH.

AT your level these pose no threat. you can clear two camps easy look around you can find a couple close together in west karana.

slightly twinked (nothing fancy some hp rings and a decent 1hblunt) Enchanter level 9 to level 20 alone on bandtis and I had 1100 PP when I left West karana.

every 24 bandit sashes nets around 60 to 80pp depends on what bronze weapon you get when you turn in the sashes.

HOpe this helps someone\

PS The sash xp is really good and I have tested on 33 ranger still give XP noticeable shift in xp bar.

i.e. only +10 wis and +110 mana

This was the equipment worn by the 41 cleric I helped level in KC basement. As you can see your equipment far out surpasses this. As such, I suggest if you are having problems healing in CoM, a far easier area, the problem does not lie with your equipment.

TBH, your gear should carry it to 60 if you let it. The fact you have 1k in the bank unspent suggests to me that you should not follow the advice of those encouraging you to waste your time on farming green mobs (unless you imagine that being fun).

If you do want to farm as a cleric, I suggest finding something you can defeat up to 25 mobs at a time with your point blank AoE line of spells.

If it isn't happening already it should be...

1. If an alpha loot system gets started, cleric goes before the first on the list.
2. If a peridot or similarly valued gem drops, give it to the cleric.
3. If a fire opal drops, that doesn't count as an alpha gem, it goes to the cleric [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I always used to run that, and it came that way to me when I was playing my cleric (granted that's a while ago now). Hopefully it's still a thing, clerics shouldn't be losing money when grouping...and only the tank REALLY needs a symbol. If you're having to symbol a wizard that overaggros or someone other than maybe the puller, tell them to watch their aggro - and every time you heal the idiot restate your mana pool [You must be logged in to view images.
