This may be the stupidest thing I've ever read in the entire history of man kind. PvP is a widely sought after aspect in mostly every game and enjoyed by nearly all. EverQuest PVP however was not only completely awful, but abysmally imbalanced. There is not even a semblance of fun to be had in EQ PvP. It has nothing to do with "being scared" - it has everything to do with "being absolutely garbage." Most players in EQ enjoy a game of League, or DOTA2.. Others enjoy FPS stylings such as battlefield, COD, Halo, etc. All of these are PVP games. It has nothing to do with "being afraid to pvp" - EverQuest pvp is not fun. It encourages twinked to the teeth assholes to sit around griefing every new player off the server to stroke their e-peen. Even with a ridiculously non classic EXP bonus Red is still crumbling to dust; and for good reason. It is not fun. The Red community is killing itself with toxic players, and MPK.

![]() Raid scene could be fixed with two steps that Sirken refuses to take:
- work with guild leaders to clarify and finalize rules, post them publicly and keep them up-to-date based on current precedent - make raid petitions public in a forum that everyone can view Sirken has been asked multiple times by multiple people on all sides of the raid scene to clarify certain rules, and he has refused again and again. His stated reason for not clarifying rules is that ambiguity reduces the opportunities for people to abuse the rules. Try not to laugh. Probably 3/4 of the disputes I've seen have been over ambiguity in the rules. The rest were either legitimate rule violations, or disingenuous bullshit. Making raid petitions public reduces the disingenuous bullshit because it adds accountability. Having the rules clarified and posted publicly eliminates the rest of the petitions. End result: Raid scene gets better because people can't simply shout "CONCPDE" whenever they think something isn't going their way. I eagerly accept my incoming forum ban for having the audacity to question the Will and Authority of Our God Emperor, Sirken.

And, no one else wanted to do Sirken's shitty stream and I'm consistently the best and most notable guest on that stream. I wasn't going to forego eating to entertain you nerds. Be grateful you got what I gave you.
