although the answer may be in mobility and ease of access to the game/a game/controls.

800 bucks might be well worth it if the experience transcends stereotypes and normalcy, into the realm of What the most best for U.

This is not my picture with the bad game, idiotic triclosan hand sanitizer, ugly girlfriend, and the dirty inferior part of the globe rotated into view, but that is my chair. And it's comfier than shit. The back is huge and goes way up there. I'm 6'4 (actually 6'4 and not online 6'4) and it's impossible to find a chair with a high enough back that isn't a recliner, but this one comes close.

I play from my living room couch on a 67" tv. I have a monitor plugged in at a computer desk here but I rarely use it.

Honestly that's not that much if they really are as good as people say they are. A decent low end computer seat is going to run you anywhere from 100-250. At work we go through them like nobody's business. If you can buy one good chair that lasts at least 20 years for 800 thats a good investment. If you really do want to cheap out you could always buy a yoga ball [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I only know what I've been told. They look pretty solid and anything that can break on them looks like it can be easily repaired. Lets say 10 years then. Still a good investment imo. I really shouldnt be the one pushing them though because I dont own one. I have a cheap office chair because I rarely sit at my home desk and the chairs at work are a business expense.

Go to a herman millar store if you have one nearby. I went to one on a lunch break and they let me test out their products. Instead of Aeron, I ended up getting an Embody chair with its accompanying desk. The two together are super comfy, but I can't speak to whether it's good for back pain. Here are the chair's adjustments.

I've had my humanscale freedom for 10 years. Lifetime warranty, yolo.

I've had a few parts mailed to me. I imagine the aeron (or really any of their higher end line) is easily a 10+ year chair too.
