High level toons farming for plat in lower level xp area

I know there are zones with guards that high level toons like to farm for plat. Sometimes they are farming NPC's that are 20 levels below their level. My question is, should a player be able to farm those mobs that give them no or very very very little xp, when a lower level player could be farming for both at the same time?

They can and its not going to change, maybe just try talking with them - ask if you can have a guard spawn or 2?

a few times I've gone into the basement of unrest and there are level 60's down there i ask politly if I can camp it for XP and they'll usually leave. embarrassed that they're level 60 looking for fine steel and jagged bands

Also how does one get into paineel without a key?

I run into this from both ends. Orc camp in highpass comes to mind. I usually give the camp to lower levels if they are polite in asking about it. Being nice to people goes a long way.

Someone gives up their camp so you can get XP and you make snotty comments about them.

This was my thought. spiderling silks, leather padding..etc.
