When fighting deep red con mobs with huge AC, all you see using a 2hander is miss and minimum hit.
You're way better off using a fast 1hander since you get more chances, and the minimum hits you see are almost same as the 2handers.

Might change when 2hander buff comes along, but currently I just don't see 2handers being worth it at all.

ive noticed the same thing

dont have palladius or tunare sword but i would think with the rng on this server a fast 1h will still win because of low hits

I went ahead and plugged Frostwrath into my sperglord calculator. All estimates are for a warrior, but it suggests @1.8 mod (so like HOT or so without Avatar): Frostwrath 55.9 dps, Rocksmasher 56.8 dps, Palladius 59.2. And after the 2HB upgrade, Rocksmasher goes to 65.6 and Palladius to 67.0. For comparison: Epic/Shissar is predicted at 48.5 dps, and Frostwrath + (upgraded) Blade of Carnage: 73.11. So Frostwrath is a lot more impressive than I thought in the damage category, but I'm guessing if you do a long parse it will still come out behind 2H. Would love one on Sakuragi, though . . .

If it wasn't for server rules about presence at a camp and training, you might be right here, but I'm predicting Chardok will be absolutely flooded especially at first. If that's the case I would just call Battlemaster.

Chance of a group going all the way down to the bottom of chardok for Kennel/Overseer area will be slim. Yea maybe at the start. But after it calms down, I seriously doubt it.

As for inspector, nobody does Koro room now on chardok. So that's not gonna change.

As for trains, bro you know I don't train. It's coming single or it ain't coming at all! DRU POWA!!!

Offense and all weapon skills cap 25 points lower for knights than they do for warriors tho. You'll end up with way lower ATK, and thus way more misses and low damage hits.

Ain't care for using no parse programs much to test this crap, but I'd still say the way P99 works right now, 2handers are just less dps than 1handers.

Those numbers are prty funny tho, usually when em asks the guys who took parse the best dps I can get avatar'd/cotp'd/vog'd/shroudofhated with Frostwrath is like 30ish on major raid mobs.

My personal anecdote is that 2h anything just seems like garbage on a warrior (have to imagine it's similar on a knight)

But then again I see 3 misses in a row and go back to 1h shit so maybe I'm just not giving it enough time

Well, Warriors get higher double attack (and triple attack), higher offense, higher weapon skills, critical hits, etc etc. Add them all up and it's not surprising that they do way more damage.

P.S. If Awakened/Aftermath will sell me a Rocksmasher for a reasonable price, I'll do the parses . . .
