Why act like this at all? Why not msg Eivy to check if he is afk when Hadden popped. Id give it a least a couple of mins of no reply then Id engage. Eivy is a nice guy/gal, and why not because of the community? Seems to me ur fingers was trembling over a fishbone earring... He despawns after 20 min btw if im correct.

I don't know what the technical time limit might be, but twenty seconds definitely seems a bit quick. I'd wait at least a minute or two, after sending them a tell. Sure, they have to be present and not just afk-camping it, but shit happens. Shouldn't have to lose a 6-hour spawn just because the phone rang/door knocked/etc.

I think Eivy is under the mistaken impression that someone camping a mob has twenty mins to engage. That's absolutely incorrect and I'm happy we have a chance to clear that up. The 20 min engage rule applies to triggered spawns involving item turn-ins. Ragefire, Xenovorash, Scout Charisa, etc. In this case your mob spawned and you weren't there to kill it. It sucks but OP didn't do anything wrong imo.

√ See someone is clearly camping hadden
√ Get spawn timer √ Log back right before next pop, count 20 seconds and kill √ Post thread on public forums Totally cool and normal behavior | ||

I don't think anyone from a high end raiding guild should be shaming someone for lawyer questing. It's not about whether it's the nice or right thing to do. Lawyer quest never is. It's about whether his action was legal according to our server rules.
