125 kills to earn level 45 with old xp formula and no server xp bonus put the ZEM just above 100 (and that's being generous with he average level of the goblins. Thanks for your opinion that isnt backed up by a log though.
So you're saying you hunted through patch logs instead of just checking the wiki zem list? LoIO is currently listed at 60 ZEM with 75 being a "normal" zem. AKA LoIO currently gives about ~20%ish less exp than a zone with a normal zem. Also bloodgill goblins' levels vary, so I dont think youre ever going to get a 100% accurate parse of mobs killed vs exp gained unless you factored in mob level as well.

Patch logs? I'm looking at my logs, and the easily-verified experience formula from the wiki. Wiki ZEM list is pretty bad really, cause it's just the stock emu one with like 10 random changes that consist of comments like "ZEM seems higher."

LOIO is goofy to begin with. http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...highlight=LOIO shows a post where I mention that I tested killing a level 1 mob with a level 1 iksar and saw a ZEM of 75 in the same day that I was experiencing a different ZEM at blood gills.

And over the course of 100+ kills, the average level of the blood gills will be what matters, not the fact that I theoretically could see nothing except min or max level ones in any given level 45.

Oh well. I've brought this kinda stuff up before and had as much constructive discussion as this time around [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

LOIO's ZEM on P99 blue is 80. That meshes with Noman's experience on blood gills for level 45, and it also meshes with testing a level 1 necro against level 1 mobs in LOIO just now.

But http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...8&postcount=17 ... so... uh... I guess LOIO used to have a worse ZEM overall with an exception of a great ZEM for blood gills... and now the whole zone has the same ZEM of 80.

Questions, Questions, Questions. Modern minds can come up with three questions:

Did you never let pet kill a mob with either toon? If you did, do you have a way of distinguishing half-exp kills from full-exp ones? Is there a 'slain' message if your pet kills a mob and you're out of range?

Nah, no mistakes there. Pets getting a kill are logged as "X has been slain by Y" whereas me getting a kill with a nuke is "you have slain X."

It doesn't really bother me, just always struck me as odd and gave me something to over-immerse myself in while medding between kills.
