What do you mean scare quotes. I used all as an indicator of severity. Trump is leading the pack, bernie isn't. Not that it really matters. All forum gravitas aside pretty harsh critique there pal. But hey at least you didn't bring up racism.

GOP is hosed whether Trump gets nom or not. If Cruz gets nom, Trump supporters whine and stay at home. If Trump gets nom, Cruz supporters whine and stay at home. I've decided either way I am going to whine and stay at home, so that I can mock all the sheeple from moral high ground when then copy me.

Anyway, all those poll numbers are way off, it's far from a typical election cycle. RNC has no idea what is going on, and really hasn't for the past 8yrs. GOP is in upheaval as the establishment loses it's grip in the republican civil war, the long ongoing war on their constituents thru their lies and deceits. Constituents tired of lies to get elected by the do nothings that just go along with the libs once they get in.

But yeah, don't buy into the media lies, even fox has gone full retard. Record turnouts are driving things, on the republican side of it anyway. Rep constituents are angry as hell and are not going to take it anymore, and long before this election cycle started. And it's not just the reps, but for the 3rd pty and independents that are fed up with GOP establishment lies that they too threw away votes at.

And it's still early, I mean months away from the general election, and I'm wondering if the nation will even survive that long. Yeah even fox news is crapping on us, driving insanity for ratings. It's starting to look like south american politics here. The Assassination of Donald Trump

I will go slowly for you

How much larger is the number 57 than the number 54?

Close enough (and high enough) that the likelihood of either candidate being their party's nominee through delegate count infetesimmally small. I guess my original pos came across that I was bad mouthing bernie? I was just repeating what I saw on reddit (the only reason I even looked at reddit was because of your post saying it was melt down mode over there. I don't care either way how comrade sanders is doing .

it did seem like that, but now i'm confused - trump won't get the nom needing 54 percent, but some other republican will - needing much more than 54 percent?

what

I don't presume any republican will receive the nomination on the first vote at the convention as I do not think any republican will obtain the required number by the last primary. In short it's a brokered convention. I do think it's likely Hillary will receive the delegates and super delegates needed to meet or surpass the delegate threshold for the democratic nomination. I don't like Hillary if it matters

This is also my view, sorry for the aggressiveness. Fistbumps for a brokered convention!

I don't think the GOP has the balls to do it again. Its been over half a century. So acting like Trump isn't already nominated is ridiculous. Its extremely unlikely the GOP goes scorched earth and rewinds the clock back to 1948.

If they do, its making a very big statement and will fracture the GOP indefinitely. forcing a reformation under a new party (tea party and derivatives, assuming the IRS doesn't get involved in shutting them down again)

They're gonna fuck him and he's gonna fuck them back harder. This creates the permanent majority but for the other side.
