What happens to the stuff I donate?
Newbies get it, mostly. Unless it's better off vendored. Then we're totally selling it for pp to get something better to give to newbies. The items will be part of giveaways or as a prize grab bag for any events we run that happen to have prizes offered. We also just give away stuff at random to needy players sometimes, so one way or another someone is going to get some use out of it.

What's good for the DoF grab bag?
Pretty much anything useful that's also an upgrade to bronze armor/vendor-bought weapons. (Fashionquest is definitely a thing.)

Can I donate platinum?
I hate tunnelquesting (along with basically every other DoF regular), so I prefer getting cool items to platinum because I don't want to sit around watching /auction. That said, we do take pp if you insist.

Can I buy stuff from the DoF grab bag? (Because I'm stuck in (insert crappy armor here))
I may sell things at my discretion at a heavy discount, but otherwise no, you can't buy anything we happen to have. You have to earn it by having fun!
